Film terms of the week!

I doubt this will really be weekly but…I thought these were interesting.

Animatics

A video compilation of storyboards timed with recorded dialogue.

Mickey Mousing

When the music in a film exactly matches the action on the screen.

Note how the music acts as sound effects as Mickey runs down the field. Maybe not the greatest example, but I thought it was appropriate for today.

This is awesome! Seriously when you and Matthew were talking the other day, using the word “animatics” and “Foley”, I was like, what??what’s that?? I was totally spacey and a little frustrating! lol, so yeah, I guess we could keep doing this! Seems fun

Well then, I think “Foley” would be a good one to use one of these weeks. Perhaps the next?
